Anti-Cheat Configuration Guide
This guide helps you configure traffic shaping parameters to effectively evade anti-cheat detection.
Background
Anti-cheat systems (such as Tencent ACE) analyze traffic across these dimensions:
- Timing Regularity: Bot packet intervals are extremely regular (CV < 0.08), while real players have natural variation
- Packet Size Distribution: Fixed-size packet streams raise suspicion
- Data Repetition: Same packets appearing repeatedly
Recommended Configuration
Basic Protection (suitable for most scenarios)
| Setting | Recommended | Notes |
|---|
| Enable Traffic Shaping | Yes | |
| Timing Strategy | NormalDistribution | Closest to real player behavior |
| Base Interval | 45 ms | |
| Jitter Strength | 0.18 | CV ≈ 0.15-0.20 |
| Enable Padding | Yes | |
| Min Padding | 0 | |
| Max Padding | 256 | |
Enhanced Protection (high-risk environments)
In addition to basic protection:
| Setting | Recommended | Notes |
|---|
| Enable CV Monitoring | Yes | |
| CV Alert Threshold | 0.08 | |
| Enable Micro-Difference | Yes | |
| Max Perturbation | 2 | |
| Perturbations Per Packet | 1-2 | |
| Enable Adaptive CV | Yes | |
| Target CV Range | 0.15 - 0.22 | |
Data Pool Strategy
| Setting | Recommended | Reason |
|---|
| Selection Strategy | Smart | Multi-dimensional, avoids repetition |
| Max Consecutive Use | 3 | Same data not used more than 3 times consecutively |
| Size Matching | Yes | Keep packet size close to original |
| Freshness | Yes | Prefer recently collected data |
| Usage Balancing | Yes | Distribute usage across data |
CV Metric Interpretation
| CV Range | Assessment | Recommendation |
|---|
| < 0.08 | Dangerous | Increase jitter strength immediately |
| 0.08 - 0.12 | Low | Consider increasing jitter strength |
| 0.12 - 0.25 | Normal | Within real player range |
| > 0.25 | High | Consider reducing jitter strength |
